Brief Biography of the Organizer:

Dr. Arie Maharshak received the B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology. He has published more than 15 papers in Journals and Conferences.
Dr. Maharshak is a hi-tech entrepreneur, active in new product development and holds 11 patents.
He has worked as senior research associate with the Aeronautics & Astronautics Advanced Robotics Laboratory at Stanford University, has co-founded the Israeli Tele-Working Association”, and has received ‘The Israeli Television Award’ for Innovation & Creativity.
Dr. Maharshak is currently the head of the department of Industrial Engineering and Management at the ORT Braude Engineering College, Karmiel, ISRAEL
