Brief Biography of the Organizer:

Dr. Rais Ahmad has obtained his BSc, MSc, MPhil, PhD degrees from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India. His research field is Variational-inequalities, Fixed point Theorems, KKM theory, Non-linear Fuctional Analysis and Optimization. He is actively engaged in higher research and has published more than forty papers in reputed journals of international repute. He is guiding many research students and some of them have already awarded PhD degree. He was visiting Professor at the University of Concepcion, Chile. He was visiting scientist at International centre of Theoretical Physics, Trieste, Italy. Recently he had been to Department of Mathematical Sciences, KFUPM, Saudi Arabia for collaborational research. He was co-investigator for a major research Project of UGC, INDIA , entitled "Vector Equilibrium Problems and their Applications. He is a senior faculty member at the Department of Mathematics, A.M.U, Aligarh. He is a founding member of Indian Societyfor Industrial and Applicable Mathematics. Heis a member of WSEAS.
