Brief Biography of the Organizers:

Stella Morris is a Lecturer in the Faculty of Engineering at Multimedia University, Malaysia. She received her Ph.D. degree from Multimedia University, Malaysia and her M.E. degree from Anna University, Chennai, India. She obtained her B.E. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University, India. She has been involved in teaching and research since 1992 and has worked for various Engineering Institutions in India and Malaysia.

Besides teaching undergraduate students, she has been actively involved in research in the areas of Power systems dynamics, Soft computing, Power system control and FACTS devices. She has published and presented over 15 papers in refereed journals and conferences. She has also supervised a postgraduate student and many projects for final year undergraduate students. In India, she has supervised the installation of an electrical workshop and expansion of the facilities in an electrical machines laboratory. She is a Senior member of the IEEE.
